Hi, I am Kate Arredondo. I am also a wife, a mother, an entrepreneur and I live with Bipolar disorder.
I have dedicated my life and coaching practice, Alpenglow Coaching, to helping others break free from coping and going through motions in life. Through the mind, body, spirit approach I emulate, my mission is to help others thrive in their life, while effectively managing their symptoms. And in turn, end the stigmas around mental illness.
I am an animal lover, self help guru and avid runner. On weekends, you can find me enjoying mother nature’s backwoods and camping in her beloved family travel trailer.
I was inspired to write a book, Finding the Alpenglow because I want others struggling with their mental health to know their life matters. While there will be ups and downs, my book shows that anyone can find personal happiness from simple, everyday joys.
I created this community as a way to empower members and give them the tools and resources to find balance in mind, body, and spirit, so that they can maintain long term stability with their mental health. I wanted a safe place for members to share their journey with their mental health and use the power of community and connection to find balance and mental wellbeing.
Are you caught in the violent tide of life’s ups and downs? Are you struggling with a mental health diagnosis or simply find yourself going through the motions? Finding the Alpenglow is about the lessons author, Kate Arredondo, learned on her spiritual journey navigating bipolar disorder without medication. The book outlines her unique approach to living a successful, vibrant life despite the ebbs and flows that are apparent with mood disorders like hers.
Through personal stories, practical applications, and inspirational quotes, Kate looks to guide you to personal growth you never thought was possible. In the pages you’ll learn holistic practices to nurture your mind, body, and spirit so that you can finally achieve the inner-peace, stability, and growth you desire.
Kate’s hope is that, in reading this book, you will connect with her story and the key lessons she has learned that will help you move from coping to thriving with your mental health. She aspires to instill in you the same passion and excitement for life and nature that she has found and build an unwavering support system. Ultimately, her stories in this book are meant to give you hope that mental stability is possible and that you can overcome the internal and external stigma around your mental illness.
You will love this book if you enjoy the simple things in life, have an appreciation for mother nature, and believe your life matters.
